Be, Thinner, the Magic Mirror Told the Evil Queen…

Wait, you DO realize, how this is an AGING woman, in her, what???  FIFTIES (right???), as Snow got to her, early twenties (maybe???)…

Be thinner, the Magic Mirror told the Evil Queen.  You want to be the “fairest of ‘em all”, don’t you???  Yes I do!

But, at what costs?  Murder?  That did NOT work, ‘cuz, Snow White’s, run away, with her Prince, living in HIS father’s kingdom (‘cuz that ASS still ain’t GROWN up enough to inherit the throne yet!).

The Evil Queen was, NEVER on the, FAT side, I mean, in her teens, she may have been, a bit, chubby (and aren’t we all???), and, she’d, started, having that god DAMN mirror, that reflected what she is expected to be by the world outside, and yet, NOT once, did the mirror tell the TRUTH, like it was, supposed to…

Be, thinner, the Magic Mirror told the Queen, and the Queen fed to the ABUSE of the Magic Mirror of her, enabling it to control her more and more by the day, and the result of her, listening to the BAD advice of that god damn mirror, was that she’d, COMMITTED MURDER on her own, younger, and more beautiful (so???) STEPDAUGHTER, Snow!

And so, the Queen is with her ATTEMPTED murder of Snow pending on TRIAL, she’s now, troubled by the advice of that god damn mirror she’d, sought advice from, “Be thinner, and you’ll, be your parents’ favorite”, but I wasn’t, I was, the unwanted, the unloved, and, no matter how I’d, changed my exterior, it’s not as if, I got that, Time Machine made by Wells, to take me back in time, to MAKE my parents, love me!

to this! illustration from online

And the EVIL QUEEN’s pursuit of becoming the MOST beautiful of them all, was still, not her own idea, it was from the INFERIORITY COMPLEX that she’d “acquired”, from being raised by AWFUL parents, who couldn’t, love this, baby as IS…

Professing My Love, to, You, a Poem

How that strong pull towards someone makes you, STUPID, and you stop thinking with your, heads, found off of a carton of drink I just went out to get, translated by me…

The Words I’d Wanted to Say to You, are All, Inside My, Heart…

Recently, I’d Begun, Rehearsing

Can’t Keep You Out of My Mind, Invisibility, Make-Believe

Overinterpretation of Everything that’s Happening in the, Universe

When You Walk Towards Me

That’s When, This, Private Myth of Mine

Is About to, Begin…

And so, this is how it is, that everything that you do, is revolved around that someone else, and, s/he will have control over your feelings, you see her/him, it makes you, feel good, and when you don’t see her/him, when s/he neglected to note you, then, you feel, upset, and this is still NOT love, it’s only, a one-sided, CRUSH, that can get easily turned into, a bad case of, CODEPENDENCE, and yet, you still, disregarded the “warning signs”, and kept on, marching, towards it, why is that?  Oh yeah, because you allowed love to turn you BLIND!

The only one ending up injured badly, would be, Y-O-U, and then, the regrets started, building, up………

She Gazed Deep, into, that Toad’s, Eyes…

She Gazed Deep, into, that Toad’s, Eyes…

She gazed deep, into, that toad’s, eyes, knowing NOT, what she would, find…

And, she was, mesmerized, lost in, those, dark, pupils, and he had her, in his, slime before she, knew it.

She gazed deep, into, that toad’s, eyes, and, all she could see was, DISGUST, and everything she despised, and, she’d, wiggled and squiggled to, break, away from him.  But she couldn’t, for he’d, already, TAPED her using his SLIME, onto, that wall.

that, is what that, looked, like…photo from online

She gazed deep, into, that toad’s, eyes, giving him a chance, because, her father told, that all creatures, big or small, should be loved, and she took her daddy’s words to heart, which was how, she got, SCREWED over.

She now, gazed deep, into, the eyes of her, father’s figure, and saw a TRUE toad, ugly, slimy, yucky, with only ONE thing on his mind, and she turned to run, but, she could, never, get out.

Because, god DAMN it, the ELECTRA COMPLEX still, APPLIES to everything, unfortunately.  She will, always end up with, tadpoles like her own, father, no matter what she did or didn’t, do.

The Day We Found, Love

The day we found, love, it was, almost dead, and we did everything we could, took it to the vet, the vet put it on the drips, and slowly, it’d, grown, stronger by the day, until it was finally, well enough, to come home with us…

The day we found, love, felt so very, long ago, and yet, it seemed like, yesterday, and you still look at me, so lovingly.  The day we found, love, we’d sworn we will, NEVER let it go, but, it got, trampled on, between work, the children, our parents, along with everything ELSE that got in between, love slowly, went…

and the excuse??? We were BOTH, “under the influence”…photo from online

The day we found, love, can’t remember how long ago that was, nor can I, recall, the exact moment that it’d, clicked inside, that you were, it for me!  The day we found, love, that was, something, wasn’t it???  Wait, I think I got it, marked down, in the calendar here, let me check………….(this is me, “checking”…)………..(still checking!), oh, can’t find the precise moment now, lost that a long, long, long, long time ago, guess, it’s time, to pull the plugs too then?  After all, love still dies, it can’t live, forever!

The day we found, love, I was, wasted, under the influence, I couldn’t see clearly, besides, I had my BEER GOGGLES on, and, I mistook you for, love, and that is how we ended, right, here, right, now…

For the Forever We Couldn’t, See

For the forever we couldn’t, see, we’d, built up this, fortress of lies to live in, to protect our selves, from getting, damaged…

For the forever we couldn’t, see, but you were once, my forever, only, that that forever, ended, way too, soon!  For the forever we couldn’t, see, we still, wanted to, live in it, and so, we’d, built this castle of straw, of wooden panels, and we still, NEVER built it, out of bricks, because we didn’t, “advance” that far into the relationship, before those, pink bubbles of love and mirage, finally, burst.

and, here’s, what happened to that head that was, too trapped in, love…

chopped off, and separated from the, body! Photo from online

For the forever we couldn’t, see, we wanted forever, that, was the only thing we had in common actually, and, we’d shared, nothing, other than just this, one, broken, strand of, thought…

And, it’s this, broken strand of, thought that, tied us up and bounded us.  For the forever we couldn’t see, we’d, put our selves, our love and respect, for our selves (we still can’t love each other!), and, our child too, up onto, that ALTAR, then, the EXECUTIONER performed his deed!

WHACK!  Off with, all those, H-E-A-D-S, then, all was, gone…

The Temperatures of the Heart

How quickly, the heart moved on, once it’s confirmed, that “I’m not interested in dating right now” for the males here…translated…

Dan-Hwa Li entered into the student center, walked up the, stairs, the notice told that the freshmen orientation is on the third floor, as she’d entered, all the chairs were lined to the side, with a long narrow table in the middle, with two rows of paper cups, with coke in them, and there were also the pastries on the paper plates too.  More than twenty had arrived.  Ma, the president of the drama club, the juniors from the sociology department, the names of eight new freshmen were, named one by one.  Every member came forth, introducing themselves to the group, what major, what grade, what high school did they graduate from. As Dan-Hwa heard that the guy on her right said: Bing Chiao, electrical engineering, graduated from Kaohsiung High School, she’d looked over at him, tall, with a, squarish, face.  When Dan-Hwa’s turn came, as soon as she sat back down, from the right, a huge hand came towards her, Bing Chiao said in a serious manner, “welcome, new member, from Kaohsiung!”

Dan-Hwa started smiling, he’d played the role of an experienced member!  Bing Chiao stared at her smiling, such a, beautiful, smile, when had he, seen it from before, he couldn’t recall, she’s slender and petite, with her chin lifted, showing that, elegance about her, with her eyes, lively.

The drama club had a performance, Dan-Hwa was the second female lead, Bing Chiao, responsible for the lights and the sounds on the mic.  For the two rehearsals after supper per week, the rehearsals lasted to late, and he’d, always, escorted her back to her dorm.  The five-minute walk, he’d either shown a ton of care and concerns to her, or that he was, working really hard, to make her, laugh, he’d, modeled after the performance of the male lead, looked just like him, a bit funny though.  Dan-Hwa thought he was very warm toward her, and there’s not that many who are, truly, and genuinely, warm, it’s a precious trait, you must be really stable on the inside, to show that warmth out to others, and can, make fun of, oneself, she’d become, curious, as to what the source of this warmth she’d found in him was.  While she herself, was the, radiant type, and, the radiance in her, naturally, attracted others to her, and she’d, enjoyed being in the spotlight too, not knowing, that she was, actually a colder sort of a white, with a, lower, heat that’s, emitted from her.

In the winter breaks, they’d returned back to Kaohsiung, the president of the drama club, Ma also lived there.  Danwha told her mother, that she had invited two members of her drama club to come home to have a meal, and told Chen, what she’d needed to cook, Danwha is the commander in her home.  Bing Chiao and Guo-Dong arrived by bus in the afternoon, Danwha first invited them to the dorm of the factory to have some popsicles, the two boys had two peanut flavored popsicles, Bing Chiao smacked his lips, “such flavorful peanut!”, then, had two red bean popsicles, and commended, “so soft!”, while Danwha slowly, sipped at a mango flavored popsicle herself.  Then, she took them to the newly opened bowling alley to play.  By five they’d arrived at her home, five were sitting for supper, other than the three of them, there were still Danwha’s mother, and her younger brother who’s still in the elementary school years, her father went on a business trip to Taipei.  Her mother is slender, with a straightened back, courteously, ushered them in.  Bing Chiao felt that the home had a huge living room, four times his own home, it’s become clear, that Danwha’s a bit too proud, from such a, rich, family.  He kept putting the foods in her younger brother’s plate, adding the soup, asking him everything, clearly, he was, trying, to earn the favors of her, younger, brother.

A couple of days, Danwha and Guo-Dong were invited to Bing Chiao’s home to dine, it was the day that the cold front arrived, the wind was, chilly, she had a sky blue felt coat, Guo-Dong was in a gray jacket, they’d, entered through the wooden door of the army retirement village, three steps in from the front yard, there was the front door, opened up, ushering them in, there’s the heat that’s going on inside the house, with everybody who was, there, the living room was, connected to the dining room, very small, the owners, other than Bing Chiao’s father, were also, his, two, younger, brothers, a younger sister, they fought to talk, the laughter burst out, his mother in the kitchen, working to make the meals, the room was like a wok with the water filled in, and broiling.

Bing Chiao led his siblings to the door, one of the younger brothers gave Danwha the slippers, the other younger brother, put her shoes up, the younger sister pulled on the sleeves of her big coat, Uncle Chiao turned to his son and nodded, turned to her, smiled, and, everything told her, that he had, told his families about her often, and maybe, even, that he liked her too.  In the school, she wasn’t quite sure if he did, but now, she’d understood, he’d, hidden his feelings toward her, but not to his families, totally different from how her own families related to each other.  Uncle Chiao was a lieutenant colonel in the services, very mild-mannered, without that toughness of the servicemen.

The guest entered the dumpling production line then, everybody stood around the table, started competing over who made the best shaped dumplings, anything that’s too minute can, make this, family happy!  In the kitchen, Mrs. Chiao would, toss over a joke or two.  Bing Chiao taught Danwha how to make the dumplings faster, and, Uncle Chiao was smiling as he’d watched the two.  Then, it’d dawned on her, she’d been wondering, what was the source of Bing Chiao’s warmth?  The answer was now, revealed: his loving parents, totally opposite of her own parents, who are, too quiet with one another at home.

In the second semester, the drama club hastened on their rehearsals, had the director of the drama club in the armed services to help out.  When Danwha was rehearsing, Bing Chiao would drop what he was doing, and arrived at the entrance of the stage to watch her perform.  She’s a natural performer, the director told her, “You can’t say, ‘I disagree’, you need to add the gestures, and the head movements, that way, the audience in the backrow can see clearly.”

She only had the facial expressions, and this time, she’d added in the head shake, the waving of her right hand, quite natural.  Bing Chiao sighed to himself, the director told her, “exactly like that!”

At this time, the third year older student, Cheng who’d portrayed the grandmother, was originally standing next to Danwha, suddenly felt to the ground, the director immediately ran to check on her, breathing normally, the president of the drama club, Ma ran to the first floor nurses’ office to get help, the director and Bing Chiao carried Cheng to the couch, Danwha was worried, quickly loosened the buttons on her shirt for her, then, took her sneakers off.  Bing Chiao then, took the other sneaker off of the older schoolmate, Cheng’s other sneaker, thought, Cheng wasn’t even her friend, Danwha is, truly, good, natured, he was, moved by her, and at this time, Cheng who’d fallen down from the fatigue opened up her eyes.

That very evening, Bing Chiao escorted Danwha back to the girls’ dorms, the two walked to the streetlamp outside the door, he’d halted and told her, “Danwha, I have something for you!”, he’d pulled out a tiny paper box, opened it, there was an agate, the size of an egg inside, on it, Bing Chiao had painted the face of Snow White.  In the winter breaks, the three of them from Kaohsiung, all members of the drama club, went to the bed of Kaoping Creek to visit, at the time, Bing Chiao picked up many agates.  Danwha got the rock, and, smiled at him, and, Bing Chiao blurted, “from the first time I laid my eyes on you, I’d liked…”, he’d not expected that Danwha would, quickly stop him, “I think, it’s best, that we stay, good friends, and continue to watch out for each other.”, as she’d stated this, she seemed nervous, a bit, hurried, and after the words, she’d added, “thank you for the rock!”, then, turned, entered into her dorm.

Soon as Danwha heard Bing Chiao confessed his love for her, she’d turned into, a porcupine, there’s that tiny voice that told her, that relationships are, abysmal, that she shouldn’t, take that, leap.  The following day, Bing Chiao seemed to have, wiped his confessions of love for her completely clean, continued, covering up his feelings for her, and now, he’s not just, covering up the fact that he’d liked her a lot, but also, the wound he’d, received too.  The first year female student who was in charge of wardrobe, from the history department, tall and slender built, started, striking up conversations with Bing Chiao, and started, tagging along his side.  Before the end of second semester of the freshman year, they’d become, a known, dating, couple, he’d needed, the warmth.

And so, this woman was one who can, live without a man, and this man was one, needing someone to complete him, to make him, whole, and so, that was why it’d not, worked out between them, and, it didn’t matter, because, he’d quickly, sought out, another, “victim”, soon enough, see how quickly men moves on to their, next, “kill”???

Living on His, Time

This would be, the PERFECT way, to lose your self, by doing everything, based off of that other someone, who may, or may not, love you ‘til the end all right!  Translated…

We met at a café, being sunny and bright, and optimistic, he’d carried on in casual conversations with his customers, and that was how we’d, started, we’d shared the conversations, and became, a dating couple.

I’d gone to the café to get my cup of joe before class, and after class, a snack, that way, I would have more interactions with him.  Actually, I’m not used to drinking coffee at all, but, to get close to everything that he loved, I’d, let go of my own self, and, learned to like what he enjoyed.

During the days off, he’d driven me all over the city, to see the sights, the sunrise, the sunsets.  Since he was promoted to store manage, he couldn’t get any days off, and, the dates became me, sitting quietly at the corner, watching him, busying in and out of the store.  And, every now and then, when he’d looked my way, there was, light shone on my life.  I think, so long as I get to see him, I’d sat from the moment the café opened, to closing time.

I’d forgotten about to live my own, life, lived on his, time.  Lost my self bit by bit, lost my charm, and in the end, I’d, lost, him too.

This is still because, you are too eager, to please the man you loved, and, once you start living on his time, you’d, made your self, less important to you, and, WHO wants someone who’s not important to her/himself?  This is how we lose ourselves, in love, we try to change our schedules to fit their, and in the end, we lost, not just our hearts, but parts of our, selves that we used to, own, because we’d, wanted to please someone else.

Trapped, Inside, a Winter, Storm

Without ANY signs of spring, in, sight…

Trapped, inside, a winter, storm, this was, what this had been, and winter had, taken over, our, worlds, locked us in, and we got, NO fire, nothing to burn to keep us warm, only, each other, but, I don’t want you near me, so I go and, hold tightly, onto, Teddy! (that STUFFED bear from childhood???)…

Trapped, inside, a winter, storm, we were, right at the center of it all, the snow fell hard, the wind raged, there’s, the dark clouds, gathering overhead too.  Trapped, inside, a winter, storm, with NOWHERE to escape, I’d, boarded up the windows and the doors, with the wooden panel I’d had, left over, in the basement…

getting BURIED ALIVE here! Photo from online

Trapped, inside, a winter, storm, somehow, I’d still, managed to, stay, as warm as I possibly can, but, the warmth still, wasn’t, quite enough, there’s, something that I’d, longed for…love, from you.

And yet, you got, NO love for me, and so, I’m totally, desperate now, longing, needing, desire the love that never, was, and I know I’ll surely, FREEZE, to death, but hey, who can I blame???

NOBODY, for I was the one, foolish (yeah, yeah, I still, admit too, ‘k???), enough, to fall for you.  And now, it’s too late, to save my self!

The Nigerian Scam Artists Targeted the Cougars, the Female Migrant Worker Became an Accomplice Because of Love

How love still have the, “tendencies” to turn us, STUPID here, and although this shit’s happened, nth time already, and it’s still, going on, and we can only blame it on our desperations for L-O-V-E, becoming an unknowing accomplice, to the scams here, off of the Front Page Sections, translated…

The scam ring based in Nigeria used the photos of good looking white males, falsified themselves as warzone surgeons of the U.N. to connect and date the mature women in Taiwan, begging for monetary assistance to get them out of the warzones, ten women had been victimized, in the total of four million dollars total, a woman whose husband found out, she’d attempted suicide and was saved.  The Criminal Investigations Unit chased the leads, found that the female Indonesian migrant worker, Nida was originally a victim, but helped the ring make withdrawals of the amount they’d scammed, and bought the bitcoins to wire it to a Nigerian man, she was charged with fraud, and money laundering, and this was reported to the Interpol.

Based off of understanding, the scam ring had found the Caucasian male photographs, used FB to hit on Taiwanese women to add them to LINE, claimed that they were doctors for the U.N. stationed in the warzones of Nigeria, and started showing a ton of cares and concerns for the victims of the scams, falsified the romances, and as the victims fell, the scam artists stated that they needed the money to get out of the warzones to come to Taiwan to marry the victims, and, the scammed had fallen too deeply in love, and started offering the scam artists money repeatedly.

The fifty-three-year-old Indonesian woman, Datti came to Taiwan to work as a homecare assistant for many years, two years ago, she’d started falling “in love” as she’d met the falsified “American physician”, and was asked to pick up the cash from other victims or to go to the ATMs for the withdrawals, to wire the amount into the dummy accounts, then, to the bitcoin ATM to buy the virtual currencies, and deposit the amount into the specific electronic wallet accounts.

like this, and she just, hands over her credit card, willingly too! Illustration from online

Datti was caught seven times by the police, and every time she’d told them that she was unaware that it was a scam artist ring’s ding, and gotten the charges dropped against her, the patrol officers had warned her about it, but she kept on picking up the cash deposits, as the Shihlin District Attorney’s Office found out, they’d had the Detective Unit’s International Department take over the investigations.  On the fifth of last month, the police arrived to Datti’s employers’ home in Taipei to arrest her, she claimed, that there was a boyfriend, that she’d only gone to the ATM to make the withdrawals as he’d asked her to, but not known where the money was from, but as the police checked the records, they’d found that the amount she withdrew was around thousands of dollars short compared to the scammed amount, they’d suspected that these were the payments for her to work as a pickup driver, the district attorney’s office, after interrogating her, sent her back to her boss’s home, as they continue to investigate.

Yeah, how stupid can you be???  I mean, this was NOT the first of this sort of cases, and yet, you’d still kept, falling for it, and it’s all because you are, too desperate for love, and, that’s how it goes, as we women get to that certain age, we started longing for love, and wee became, too desperate, and, the desperations for love turned us all, stupid, and we become, victims of these scams, or worse, like this migrant worker, an accomplice of the scam rings.

Smuggling in the Lies

Smuggling in the lies, that doesn’t sound, too difficult, does it?  I mean, all you need, is a good lying, that can lie without blinking, that’s convincing enough for all whom s/he met…

Smuggling in the lies, I’d, allowed you to, because that was, what love was (past tense!), being, raised by, liars.  Smuggling in the lies, you had, you’d, stowed them away, in the trunk of that streetcar named, “desire!”.

Smuggling in the lies, we keep on doing, knowing, that eventually, those lies we’d, smuggled in, moved around in our lives will, eventually, take our lives, over, but, we chose to remain blind to the adverse effects of them, because we can’t, face our own, truths.

stowaways like this!

Photo from online

And now, where had that, gotten us?  Foothold in H-E-L-L!  So, I’d, stopped, smuggling in the lies, turned my own life upside down, and, I’d, almost died, inside, those, whirlwinds those lies caused, but I still, survived, barely, sure, but I’m still, A-L-I-V-E!
